Tree Moving at Cittamall
It was June 2010, the trees were moved from Brickfields
and planted temporary at site office since about 18 months.
Now they are trying to move the 1st tree to a corner of Cittamall.
The task is not easy at all. Especially when the trailer loaded with a big tree
trying to pass through the building. The workers had to remove the scaffolding
to make way for the trailer.
This is the spot for the 1st tree.
And the far corner will be the new home for 2nd tree few months later.
Now, here is my new home
The following video showing the 2nd tree being planted on Jan 2011.
True feelings
24 March morning, suddenly received a phone call from my good friend Kooi Weng,
asking me to cover a shoot because he has another assignment that day.
Later on when I realised that what i need to shoot was
process of medical surgery… started to worry….
I never shoot a medical operation before….
not sure whether I can stand when seeing the blood….
When I enter the operation room, client just got the confirmation from the doctor that
we only need to record the doctor explaining about a new product.
something to do with “Anesthetic”
Feel relief because I don’t have to face the operation. But a bit disappointed also
because not everyone have the opportunity to see an operation in real.
But anyway, I appreciate to have the chance and experience.
At least I know learned that there is a product to test the level of sleep of a patient,
and also the level of pain of that sleeping patient.
A sleeping person can tell you their true feeling…
Just imagine… when an awaken person tell you their true feelings…
should we measure… how true it is…
Enderong Retreat-Don’t worry…be patient…

Beginning of 2010, had an opportunity to work and stay one night
in a beautiful place near Bukit Tinggi,
called Enderong Rest House,
a very good place for retreat.
To be honest I have never heard of this place before,
although have been a few times to Bukit Tinggi.
The forest… the fresh air… the trees… the scenery… the cool weather…
the architectural of the building… the sound of nature… the rain…
So many things to appreciate for.
This time, I’m very grateful of having the opportunity to
have an interview with Ven. Luang Po Sumedho.
Something interesting about the preparation of the shoot….
I was told that Luang Po is coming down at around 4.30-5pm.
So I started to set up checking the angle, mic, lighting.
I was planning to use natural lighting with the green leaves as background.
5pm…., 6pm, LP is not here yet.
Never mind, because the sun is still around.
6.30… start worrying… 7pm, no more natural light.
Finally LP came down at around 7.15
Luckily I just turn on the house spot light and my mini lite panel ,
Adjust the seat and angle little bit, adjust the white balance.
The green leaves background disappear and become bluish.
Wow! the Interview turned out very nicely, beyond my expectation,
infact, much better than what I planned for.
At that time I realized that…
“some times we worried too much”
Some times, for something that happens, there must be some reasons.
when there is nothing much we can do, just patiently wait….
perhaps this is the message that LP try to give me.
“Appreciation” makes us a happier person
October 2009, went to shoot Kathina ceremony in Bangkok.
6am, we follow monks to go for “pindapatt” or Alms,
to a village nearby the monastery.
Although it’s a small and simple village,
some houses even in a very bad condition,
but they still coming out to offer their food
with sincere and respect.
But that was really very delicious.
the food taste so delicious because we appreciate so much?
I’m not sure about that. But I’m sure,
when we appreciate something,
we certainly will be more happy.
If we don’t appreciate,
even we are having the best cuisine in the world, we are still not satisfied.
